Former Juventus director Luciano Moggi has revealed why he ‘likes’ Inter. “They’ve never competed with us.”

Moggi’s remarks come less than a day after he won a legal case, which ruled ex-Inter President Giacinto Facchetti had ‘lobbied referees’ during the Calciopoli scandal.

“Calciopoli? It was a very important step for Italian football, but bad for those who suffered and did nothing, in this case us,” he told Tuttosport.

“Juve’s defence wasn’t good enough, also because the lawyer said: ‘Serie B is fine with a points deduction.’

“What is this? What the lawyer said, as well as that he’d read everything in seven days, didn’t correspond to the truth.

“Therefore, I like Inter because they’ve never competed with us.”
