Former Juventus general manager Luciano Moggi has been sentenced to four months in prison for threatening former Roma director Franco Baldini.
The charges stem from the trial relating to GEA World, an agency run by Moggi’s son, Alessandro.
The Italian high court last year annulled a conviction for putting pressure on players to be represented by the agency, but this was a separate trial.

Baldini, a witness in the GEA trial, accused Moggi of pointing his finger in his face, swearing at him and warning him to “be careful” as it could “end badly”.
Moggi was convicted of threatening Baldini, but appealed the sentence. However, the appeals court in Rome has today upheld the verdict, sentencing Moggi to four months imprisonment.
Under Italian law, a person is not considered guilty until all levels of appeal have been exhausted, so Moggi could still appeal to the Supreme Court.
