The Juventus striker didn’t attend the Champions League draw last week, where Modric beat him to the Player of the Year award.
It has been reported that the Portuguese was angry that the award went to his former teammate, but the Croatian denies that.
“Cristiano sent me a message to congratulate me,” Modric said, as reported by Gazzetta dello Sport.
