Henrikh Mkhitaryan has withdrawn from the Armenia squad after five Roma players tested positive for Covid-19.
The Giallorossi’s captain Edin Dzeko had had a positive swab test last week while the likes of Lorenzo Pellegrini, Davide Santon, Federico Fazio and Marash Kumbulla tested positive earlier this week.

Bryan Cristante and Gianluca Mancini are negative but have not been allowed to join Italy national team.
Armenia FA confirmed today Mkhitaryan has withdrawn from their senior squad.
“Considering the increased speed of the Sars-CoV-2 infection disease and the protocol of Roma First team squad isolation after the confirmed case, Henrikh Mkhitaryan WILL NOT join Armenian NT for the upcoming 2 matches,” the statement reads.
