Henrikh Mkhitaryan could be on his way to Russia in the summer, with Dinamo Moscow interested in signing him on a free transfer.

The 33-year-old Armenian forward’s contract expires with Roma at the end of this season and it’s unlikely to be renewed, so he is now able to sign a pre-contract with a new club at some point ahead of the summer transfer window.

As reported by RB Sport, Dinamo Moscow have set their sights on Mkhitaryan and they’re reportedly ready to offer him a contract. The details of this are currently unclear. Another Russian club are also keen to acquire the former Arsenal man.

The 33-year-old Mkhitaryan, who joined Roma on loan in the summer of 2019 before joining the club on a free transfer a year later. This season, he has made 31 appearances across all competitions, for a total of 2373 minutes. In that time, he’s scored three goals and provided seven assists, being a consistent figure in Jose Mourinho’s squad.
