Henrikh Mkhitaryan is caught between two clubs as both Roma and Inter vie to secure his signature, and he’s preparing to make his decision.

The 33-year-old Armenian forward’s current deal with the Giallorossi at the end of this month and their current offer of a one-year deal with an option for a second hasn’t proved convincing, with the former Manchester United man wanting a little more security. This is where Inter enter the fray, offering him a two-year deal worth €3.5m net per season plus a €2m signing bonus.

As highlighted by Tuttosport, Mkhitaryan is particularly convinced by the idea of playing in the Champions League again and he appreciates Inter’s offer of a two-year contract. Tiago Pinto, Roma’s sporting director, offered him the same wages as Inter but didn’t extend the length of the offer.

The 33-year-old is now considering his options and is set to make a decision soon, wanting to have a full pre-season with either club.

  1. Stay where you know you will play more. What makes him think he will automatically dislodge Barella, Brozovic or Calahanoglu? He’s an automatic starter at Roma, when fit.

  2. MIKITARYAN MUCH BETTER PLAYER THAN PELLEGRINI HE CAN NOT EVEN POLISH THE SHOES OF MIKITARYAN HE SHOULD BE MAKING MORE THAN HIM YEARLY SALARY
