They are turning their attention towards other targets to fill that creative midfielder between the lines role.

Sky Sport Italia maintain the primary objective now is Mkhitaryan, who Borussia Dortmund could release for around €20m.

He is more experienced than Draxler and certainly more reliable when it comes to his history of injuries.

Juve are set to work out personal terms before making a firm offer to the club.

However, La Gazzetta dello Sport insist that the next in line is Palermo’s Vazquez.

He is an Italy international, albeit born and raised in Argentina, and would be reunited with his old Rosanero teammate Paulo Dybala in Turin.

Last season the 26-year-old scored 10 Serie A goals, but above all provided 11 assists, many of them for Dybala.
