Henrikh Mkhitaryan insists Inter have ‘just one way’ to win the Serie A title again this season: ‘We have high motivation.’
The Armenian midfielder released an interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport three days before Inter’s 2024-25 Serie A debut against Genoa at Marassi.
Last season, the Nerazzurri became Italy’s champions for the 20th time in history.
“We must do things well and work well even if many players have arrived at different moments,” said Mkhitaryan.
“Everyone is doing their best to get in shape and start the new season in the best possible way. Nobody wants to be left behind.
“We are Inter and our target is to lift trophies. We will work to win the Scudetto again. Generally, we want to do more than last season. So the target is to go even more far away in the Champions League. Then we have the Club’s World Cup. It is far away now, but it’s fascinating to think about it,” continued the ex-Man United star.

“We signed three new players. Taremi, Zielinski, and Martinez will help us throughout the season. Our strength is that we are a team in which everyone has a chance to play. If we help each other, we can win games.
“We are not kids, we are not going to lose our heads. We know we won the second star last season, but we are not yet satisfied. It will be tougher because the pressure will be higher. All eyes will be on us. Our opponents are signing strong players to fill the gap.
“The mister insists that we must be ready for the battle and that without hard work, we’ll go nowhere. We are here. He’s right, there’s no other way to win the Scudetto and we have high motivation.”
