Mkhitaryan missed the 2-1 first leg victory in Amsterdam through injury, but he is back in the starting XI tonight.

“I feel great. I’ll do everything I can to help the team, whether I can play the 90 minutes or not,” the midfielder told Roma TV.

“These fixtures aren’t just about the mentality. We have to be united, games like this are to be won together, not by one or two individual players.

“We are ready to give our all for the victory today. We know Ajax’s strengths and their qualities, but we’ll try to play our game and make it difficult for them.

“This is our home game and we want to win. We mustn’t think about the fact we won the first leg, it’s all about the ideal performance to win tonight.”
