Aleksandar Mitrovic could join Milan in the summer, the Anderlecht striker’s agent has confirmed.

Milan are widely believed to be in the market for a striker, with the Rossoneri being linked to Stefano Okaka and Andrej Kramaric in recent days, as well as Mitrovic.

The Serbian striker’s agent has spoken to Calciomercato about the possibility of his client moving to San Siro, saying that Milan would be an attractive proposition.

“Milan in June? We’ll see what happens,” Nenad Jestrovic told the website.

“It would be difficult for him to leave Anderlecht in January, but he’ll probably move in June. He’s ready for a big club, he’ll prove it.

“I think he’s the best young striker on the market at the moment.

“Milan would be a nice club for Mitrovic to join, they’re still a massive club.

“I’ve heard about Milan’s interest, but they haven’t contacted me. They have my phone number.

“Whoever wants the player will have to talk to me.

“We hope he can go to a big club, he has to continue to train and be professional.”

Calciomercato believes Milan would have to pay around €15m to prise Mitrovic from Anderlecht, as the Belgian club paid €5m to sign the player and would owe part of any potential fee to former club Partizan Belgrade.
