A new side will be created and this evening the Mayor of Palermo, Leoluca Orlando, announced that local businessmen Mirri and Antonino Di Piazza had the best proposal.

“I feel the responsibility of a mission, but even before that the joy of a fan, because I am certain that after so much suffering, we’ll have the opportunity to write beautiful and extraordinary pages in the city’s sporting history,” said Mirri.
“We are filled with enthusiasm, ready to start on the right foot. The Rosanero colours are already set for the new jerseys. As requested, we’ll provide all the necessary documentation to the FIGC on July 29, including the cheques to register for the Lega Nazionale Dilettanti (Serie D).
“We can’t go into it now, but after July 31 we’ll be able to outline our technical, club and sporting project.
