Juventus are reportedly considering whether to bring back Bologna’s Antonio Mirante as a No 2 goalkeeper to Wojciech Szczesny next season.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Juve will ‘closely examine’ Mirante when Bologna tackle the Bianconeri in Turin on Saturday.

The 34-year-old began his career with the Old Lady, making seven appearances for them during their Serie B campaign in 2006-07, before going on to play more than 300 times for Sampdoria, Parma and the Rossoblu.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Juve will ‘closely examine’ Mirante when Bologna tackle the Bianconeri in Turin on Saturday.

The 34-year-old began his career with the Old Lady, making seven appearances for them during their Serie B campaign in 2006-07, before going on to play more than 300 times for Sampdoria, Parma and the Rossoblu.

He was also able to bounce back from a heart problem in the first half of last season.

Failing that, the newspaper reports Juve are also looking at Lazio outcast Federico Marchetti, Sassuolo’s Andrea Consigli and Emil Audero, who has helped Filippo Inzaghi’s secure a playoff place in Serie B during a loan spell.
