Bologna goalkeeper Antonio Mirante is almost ready for a return to action after suffering heart problems.

The 33-year-old was taken ill at the end of August with a suspected cardiac arrhythmia, forcing the Rossoblu to sign Alfred Gomis on a deadline day loan from Torino.

According to Corriere dello Sport, the goalkeeper could return against Roma at the weekend, but it is more likely that the club exercise caution with the player’s return.
