Inter defender Joao Miranda believes there’s ‘still a small chance of the Champions League’ despite being seven points off Roma.
The Nerazzurri won 3-1 against Udinese on Saturday but are some way behind the Giallorossi in third place with only three games remaining.
The Brazil international assured that they will ‘fight until the end’ before commenting on the continuing success of his former club Atletico Madrid.
“We still have a small chance of playing in the Champions League,” Miranda told Onda Cero.

“We’ll fight until the end because we want to finish the season in the best way possible. Serie A is a very tough league, but I’m doing really well here. I play in a great team that is working really well.
“Inter and Atletico? They are two teams with completely different ways of playing. In Madrid I won almost everything, I hope to do the same at Inter.
“I’m still in touch with my old teammates from Atleti, I’m really happy for them. I’m rooting for them in the Champions League and La Liga.
“I have a deep respect for that club, together we won so much in four years. I hope the winning run can continue.
“Their fans always drive you on and support you greatly. This fan base definitely deserves a strong team like the current one.”
