Former sporting director Massimiliano Mirabelli feels Milan have ‘waited too long’ to renew with Gigio Donnarumma and Hakan Calhanoglu.
The ex-director hopes to see both Calhanoglu and Donnarumma renew with the Diavolo but says the wait could end up costing the Rossoneri.
“We created the basis of this team with many renewals but now I hope that Donnarumma and Calhanoglu will remain,” Mirabelli told Tuttosport.
“But for some time, they have had the advantage and the power of the situation.

“I’m amazed by the time, renewing so few months before the deadline will cost a lot. Milan has waited a long time, too long.
“Maybe the renewal arrives but you hurt yourself on the balance sheet.”
