Monza have not conceded a goal in the last 348 minutes, better than Carlo Ancelotti’s Real Madrid.

Monza are unbeaten in five Serie A matches, winning the last two against Sassuolo and Salernitana and not conceding in the last three.

Lazio striker Ciro Immobile was the last player to score against the Brianzoli, converting a penalty kick at minute 12 of a 1-1 draw at the Stadio Olimpico on September 23.

As reported by Tuesday’s printed edition of Il Corriere dello Sport (page 12), this means Monza have not conceded in the last 348 minutes, not even Real Madrid have such a long streak as Ancelotti’s side have not conceded in La Liga in the last 314 minutes.

What’s even more impressive about Monza is that they conceded the last two goals from penalty kicks, against Lazio and Lecce. The last time Palladino’s boys conceded from open play was on September 2 in a 3-0 loss against Atalanta at the Gewiss Stadium.

Only Inter (5), Juventus and Bologna (6) have conceded fewer goals than Monza (7) in Serie A so far this season.
