More than 8,000,000 Italian households tuned in to watch Juventus-Milan in the Coppa Italia semi-finals last night.

The second leg was the first game to be played on Italian soil since the coronavirus lockdown was eased, albeit behind closed doors.

There was little in the way of a spectacle in Turin, with Juve only reaching the Final on away goals after a goalless draw.

However, that did not stop 8.276m people from watching the tie on Rai 1, accounting for 33.9 percent of the viewing share.

Although it is 200,000 more than the first leg, it is still 2m less than the number who clocked in for the 2018 Final between the two sides (10,583,000).

The other second leg takes place this evening between Napoli and Inter (1-0 agg.) at San Siro.
