Former Argentina international Diego Milito suggested that Paulo Dybala would shine with Inter and noted that Romelu Lukaku ‘can change Inter and Serie A’.

The Nerazzurri are desperate for a strong summer transfer window as they look to hit back at intercity rivals Milan, who won the Scudetto in the season just gone finishing only two points ahead of Simone Inzaghi’s side. Romelu Lukaku is already on the verge of completing a return to Italy and talks are still ongoing for Dybala.

Speaking to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Milito first gave his thoughts on Lukaku’s return from Chelsea.

“We aren’t getting bored. With Lukaku we are now there, what a coup! He has shown he can change not only Inter, but the whole of Serie A.”

The 2010 treble winner then commented on the possible arrival of Dybala, whose contract expires with Juventus next week.

“Let’s see what will happen with Dybala, everyone could use him. If there is a chance, then he must be seized. He would be an asset in a team that is already complete.

“Dybala would be in the right club to reset and restart. And he wouldn’t change leagues, he knows Serie A well, he wouldn’t struggle. Team and fans would welcome him well, the desire for revenge would make the difference.”

He spoke highly of Lautaro Martinez and suggested that there is still room for growth.

“Everyone knows how much I have a soft spot for him, but he’s young and can still grow. He has no limits. With the arrival of new champions, then, his talent will add to the others.”

Milito touched on Milan Skriniar’s possible departure to Paris Saint-Germain.

“It will be a great loss, but Inter will know how to replace him.”

Finally, Milito spoke about Inter’s goalkeeper situation. Andre Onana is arriving on a free transfer from Ajax and Samir Handanovic has signed a one-year contract renewal.

“I am happy to see Handanovic one more year, he is a great goalkeeper and a very good person. He does well not to give up. he will play for his place with Onana.”
