Juventus striker Arkadiusz Milik has the best free-kick conversion rate in Serie A since 2004-05, and after scoring the winner against Cremonese, the Pole revealed that he practices with Dusan Vlahovic at Continassa.

The former Napoli converted a late free-kick against Cremonese on Wednesday, helping Juventus secure a crucial 1-0 win over the Grigiorossi at the Stadio Zini.

As highlighted by Opta, Milik has had the best free-kick conversion rate in Serie A since 2004-05, scoring four from 12 attempts.

His goal against Cremonese was the first from a free kick at Juventus, but Milik has already scored seven goals in 21 appearances with the Old Lady this term. His teammate Dusan Vlahovic has managed eight in 17 games so far.

Speaking to DAZN after Juventus’ win over Cremonese on Wednesday, Mili revealed that he usually practices free-kicks with the Serbia international at Continassa.

“We train together, he does well and I am doing very well too,” he said.

“We are happy with this victory, it was important to start the year well. Surely we didn’t play well, but the victory is what matters, so we have to continue like this.”

Vlahovic scored two free-kick goals this season, both in Serie A.

Milik joined Juventus on loan from Marseille last summer and the Bianconeri seem willing to make his move permanent for €7m at the end of the season.
