Napoli forward Arkadiusz Milik will reportedly train on his own until January, after rejecting late moves to Fiorentina and Valencia yesterday.

Il Corriere dello Sport reports Milik, who had his mind set on a move to Juventus on a reported deal worth €5m a season, ended up rejecting a move to Fiorentina on transfer deadline day.

SportMediaset revealed Milik only wanted Juventus and a phone call from Andrea Pirlo reassuring him the Bianconeri were looking forward to welcoming the Poland international infuriated Azzurri patron Aurelio De Laurentiis.

The broadcaster reports everything then started to crumble, and Juventus moved their attention to Roma striker Edin Dzeko, who also agreed on a switch to the Allianz Stadium.

Milik seemed set to take the Bosnian’s place at the Olimpico, but the move faded, just like the links with Tottenham and Paris Saint-Germain

The 26-year-old remains a Napoli player after the transfer window shut last night and he rejected late offers from Fiorentina and Valencia.

Il Corriere dello Sport claims he will train individually at Castel Volturno for the next months before he can openly start negotiating with clubs in January and try to free himself from the €1.8m contract with the Partenopei.

Milik arrived from Ajax for €33m in 2016 and has since scored 48 goals in 122 competitive games for the Partenopei.
