Juventus‘ clause to sign Arkadiusz Milik on a permanent deal expires on June 10, but Lazio have reportedly joined the race to sign the Poland international.

Milik joined Juventus on an initial loan deal with an option to buy from Marseille last summer and the Bianconeri can make his move permanent for €7m. However, the clause expires on June 10 so the Serie A giants must move quickly if they want to continue with the ex-Napoli forward in 2023-24.

One of Milik’s ex-coaches, Maurizio Sarri, would love to reunite with the 29-year-old at Lazio.

According to Il Corriere dello Sport (page 20), the Biancocelesti have already sounded out the striker’s availability as Milik is seen as the ideal candidate to become Ciro Immobile’s backup next season when Lazio will play in the Champions League.

However, Milik’s €3.5m-a-year salary appears to be too high for the Bianconcelesti who would need to negotiate lower wages with the striker’s entourage. According to Il Corriere dello Sport, Bundesliga and Premier League clubs are also interested in the Juventus loanee.
