Arkadiusz Milik thanked Carlo Ancelotti for freeing Napoli players from “that strict tactical regime” under Maurizio Sarri.
The striker is on international duty with Poland, but was asked about his season at the Stadio San Paolo with the switch from Sarri to Ancelotti.
“He took us out of that strict tactical regime, so we have fewer fenceposts holding us in, are allowed to improvise more and be creative,” said Milik in a Press conference.

“Ancelotti is a very calm person who never really shouts or loses his temper, even if he gets angry. It’s actually quite new for me to work with a Coach like this.”
The centre-forward also confirmed he is negotiating a new contract with Napoli.
