Salernitana announce Franck Ribery will ‘rest for a few days’ after being involved in a car accident last night.
“Following a car accident, the player Franck Ribery, who was not driving the vehicle, has been diagnosed with a mild head injury and will precautionarily rest for a few days,” the club statement read.
According to Calciomercato.com, the former Bayern Munich star could remain out of action for approximately seven days.
On Saturday, the 38-year-old had captained the Granata in their 1-1 draw against Bologna at the Stadio Arechi. If he remains on the treatment table for a week, he will miss Friday’s Serie A clash against Inter at San Siro.
