Milan’s list of players registered for the group stage in the Champions League has been confirmed, with Andrea Conti, Samu Castillejo and Pietro Pellegri missing out on the action.

Coach Stefano Pioli has picked his men for the prestigious competition and Pellegri, who returned from Ligue 1 this summer, is not included in the registered squad for the competition.

Milan are preparing for their return to the Champions League after eight years and are drawn in Group B with Liverpool, Atletico Madrid and FC Porto.

  1. So ypu include Jungdal and Desplanches (4th and 5th GK’s) but not Pellegri (3rd Striker). Pioli is not bright..

    Jungdal and Desplanches are included because Milan has to fulfill a quota of homegrown players for the UEFA list, and another quota of “country grown players”

    If a team doesn’t match that, then first-team players need to be skipped (in this case, Pellegri)
