Milan are on the verge of selling Jens Petter Hauge to German club Eintracht Frankfurt, according to reports in Norway.

The 21-year-old was left out of the squad for tonight’s friendly match against OGC Nice.

There had already been rumours he was heading out of the club under a year after he made the move from Bodo/Glimt for €5m in October 2020.

Norwegians site vg.no and Nettavisen now claim that negotiations are at a very advanced stage with Eintracht Frankfurt.

“I can confirm there are talks with some clubs,” added agent Atta Aneke.

The representative would not specify the teams involved, but did note Hauge’s absence for the Milan match against Nice is not due to injury.

Hauge first caught the Rossoneri’s eye when scoring against them for Bodo/Glimt in the Europa League preliminary rounds last summer.

He made 24 competitive appearances for the club, scoring five goals and providing one assist.

The forward has three senior caps for Norway and in Serie A had been linked with Udinese and Torino.
