Milan are working on the terms to get Hakim Ziyech on loan from Chelsea with option to buy, while Barcelona confirm Franck Kessie’s arrival as a free agent.

The Rossoneri can finally begin to get active on the transfer market after directors Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara signed new contracts.

Ziyech has emerged as a strong target, as he is able to play both as a winger and a trequartista behind the strikers.

According to MilanNews.it, the plan is to bring him in on loan with an option to buy at the end of the season.

They also hope Chelsea will either contribute to cover part of his €6m per season wages or the player will accept a pay cut.

Meanwhile, Barcelona President Joan Laporta confirmed today that former Milan midfielder Kessie will be unveiled as their player on Wednesday, followed by Chelsea defender Andreas Christensen on Thursday.

They are both free agents, as their contracts ran down on June 30.
