Milan work on loan deal for Everton target Danjuma

La Gazzetta dello Sport confirms Milan are interested in Villarreal striker Arnaut Danjuma and are working on a loan deal with the La Liga side.

Fabrizio Romano reported on Friday morning that the Rossoneri were interested in the ex-Tottenham loanee and Gazzetta have now confirmed Milan are ready to open talks to sign the 26-year-old from the Spanish club.

According to the report, Milan want to sign the striker on loan. Scorer of eight goals last season, Danjuma is one of Milan’s targets to strengthen the attack alongside Mehdi Taremi, Alvaro Morata and Gianluca Scamacca.

Everton and Feyenoord are also interested in signing the Villarreal forward.

Danjuma spent the last six months of 2022-23 on loan at Tottenham, where he scored two goals in 12 appearances. He netted 16 goals with Villarreal in 2021-22 and 17 more with Bournemouth between 2019 and 2021.

His contract with Villarreal expires in June 2026.
