Milan won’t have a buy-back clause on Manuel Locatelli, who is set to join Sassuolo in a total €14m plus bonuses deal.
Originally, the midfielder was expected to move for €12m plus €2m in bonuses, but giving the Rossoneri a buy-back clause so he could return for a set fee in future.
However, Sky Sport Italia and other sources now claim negotiations have changed the format of the transfer.

It’ll be a loan at €2m with obligation to buy at the end of the season for a further €10m.
Another €2m in performance-related bonuses are also included as part of the deal, but Milan won’t have any preferential treatment if they want their youth product back.
Still only 20 years old, the midfielder has amassed 63 competitive appearances in a Rossoneri jersey, scoring two goals and one assist.
