Milan will not bring in Yacine Adli early from his Girondins de Bordeaux loan, while they have no intention of selling Tommaso Pobega to Torino, even as part of a Bremer switch.

The Rossoneri are currently second in Serie A and have crashed out of the Champions League, but are looking for reinforcements.

With Franck Kessie and Ismael Bennacer heading to Africa Cup of Nations duty, coach Stefano Pioli will have a shortage of players in midfield during January and February.

According to Footmercato, the idea of recalling Adli early from his season-long loan at Bordeaux has been abandoned already.

As part of the original €8m transfer plus up to €2m in performance-related bonuses, the paperwork made clear that Bordeaux would keep the 21-year-old midfielder for the full 2021-22 campaign.

Meanwhile, Calciomercato.com report that Adli will have Pobega as his teammate at San Siro next season.

That is because while Torino will try to buy him outright, perhaps offering to include defender Gleison Bremer as part of an exchange deal, Milan intend to keep hold of the 22-year-old.

He has scored an impressive four Serie A goals in just 16 Serie A appearances for the Granata.

  1. We have central midfielders nailed down..we need decent attacking midfielders…Diaz is unsuitable…a big investment is required

  2. @Gyan you have Calhanoglu. Oh wait you let him go for free.. Come on, trust Diaz a little bit more. Maybe like 5 years more.
