Talks between Milan and Chelsea directors for Christian Pulisic will continue next week and according to Tuttosport, the next week could be ‘decisive’ for the future of the American winger.

The Rossoneri have already confirmed the signing of Ruben Loftus-Cheek and hope to welcome a new Chelsea player soon.

Pulisic has already agreed to take a pay cut to join the Rossoneri. According to Saturday’s printed edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport, the USMNT international would earn circa €4m per season at San Siro.

Chelsea’s asking price is still in the region of €25-28m. Multiple sources say Milan are confident of signing the American but don’t want to spend more than €15m. However, the Serie A giants are also aware that they’ll need to raise their offer sooner or later; otherwise, they’d need to consider bids for different targets such as Adama Traore or Samuel Chukwueze.

As per Tuttosport (page 15) next week could be decisive for Pulisic’s potential transfer to the Stadio Meazza. The Rossoneri could raise their offer to €20m hoping to see Chelsea lower their asking price given that the 24-year-old wants to join Milan and that his contract at Stamford Bridge expires in one year.
