Milan are reportedly making enquiries about Udinese’s Jakub Jankto, and could take him on loan with obligation to buy.

The Rossoneri have been linked with the Czech midfielder for some time, but it’s thought to be more likely that he’ll go to the Premier League.

The player himself has said that he won’t stay in Italy for his whole career, and he’s been linked with Arsenal, among others.

Despite that, this morning’s Corriere dello Sport is reporting new contact between the Diavolo and the Zebrette about Jankto.

Milan wouldn’t be able to sign him outright this month, but they hope to do a deal whereby they take him on loan with an obligation to buy in the summer.

Another option would be Theo Walcott, the newspaper reports, but at the moment the English international is more keen to move to the Rossoneri than they are to take him.

However, he could also join from the Gunners on loan, but perhaps with an option rather than obligation to buy, or an option which becomes mandatory if certain conditions are met.
