Milan have a deal for Empoli midfielder Rade Krunic, but are also now pushing for Napoli left-back Mario Rui and Fiorentina’s Jordan Veretout.
Empoli President Fabrizio Corsi confirmed today that Krunic “will play for Milan next season, as we did a deal for €8m.”
That isn’t the only bit of business completed by director Paolo Maldini and CEO Ivan Gazidis.

According to Sportitalia transfer expert Alfredo Pedulla, Milan are pushing Napoli hard for 28-year-old Portugal international Mario Rui.
He already worked with Coach Marco Giampaolo at Empoli, before reuniting with Maurizio Sarri at Napoli.
Meanwhile, the Rossoneri are also joining the race for Fiorentina midfielder Veretout, an increasingly crowded hunt for the €20m-rated Frenchman.
Napoli, Arsenal, Roma, Atalanta and even Paris Saint-Germain have looked at Veretout, who contributed five goals and four assists in 37 competitive games for the Viola this season.
