But the newspaper claims Milan will try to set up a loan deal with the idea of discussing a possible permanent move later on.

The 23-year-old moved to Real Madrid ahead of 2019-20 for a reported €63m but has struggled to convince in the Spanish capital.

Jovic, who impressed during his two seasons with Eintracht Frankfurt, signed a contract at the Bernabeu until June 2025.
