If Milan complete the sale to a Chinese conglomerate, they’ll push for Unai Emery or Manuel Pellegrini as their new Coach.

The Rossoneri are in confirmed advanced talks with a group of Chinese businessmen for a takeover and hope to have the deal done by June 15.

Although Silvio Berlusconi said he will remain as President for three years and try to back current tactician Cristian Brocchi, the new owners have other ideas.

Although Silvio Berlusconi said he will remain as President for three years and try to back current tactician Cristian Brocchi, the new owners have other ideas.

La Gazzetta dello Sport claims they will send CEO Adriano Galliani out for talks with Sevilla boss Emery and former Manchester City manager Pellegrini.

Both have been heavily linked with the San Siro job before, but with the Chinese takeover promising fresh funds to spend on the transfer market, they could well be tempted.

Chilean Pellegrini confirmed to The Guardian newspaper this week that he learned English, French and Italian, also studying the football in Serie A.

“If I don’t have a really interesting option, I will stop until I find one. If I have to stop [completely], I will stop. It can be now, [until] December, one year or for ever. Of course, I would miss it. The challenge keeps me alive.”

Milan face competition for Pellegrini from Everton in the Premier League.
