The Rossoneri look for their first Serie A win in three games and are the favourites in these Milan vs. Udinesepredictions. Tensions are mounting for Stefano Pioli’s side and they will welcome a match against a struggling Zebrette team.
1 – Milan to win – 7/15
2 – Olivier Giroud to score – 7/5
3 – Over 2.5 goals scored – 7/9
4 – Both teams to score – 39/40
5 – A draw at full-time – 18/5
Milan welcome Udinese to the San Siro this weekend looking for only their second win in six games in all competitions. Fortunately for the Rossoneri, their visitors have fared even worse, as they are yet to secure a win all season.
Gabriele Cioffi’s Udinese career got off to an underwhelming start last weekend, picking up the Zebrette’s fourth consecutive draw. Admittedly, the Friulani did so against a strong Monza team, but fans would have been desperately hoping that a change of management would secure their first win of the campaign.
Unfortunately for Udinese, their first Serie A win still seems a way off, as even in their current form, we predict a Milan win on Saturday afternoon.
Last weekend’s draw against Napoli was understandably taken badly, having secured a two-goal lead in the first half. That being said, taking a point away from the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona is no mean feat and Milan fans have good reason to be optimistic about their team, despite recent results.
Another positive was the brace scored by Olivier Giroud, who had suffered a ten-game dry streak. Having rediscovered his scoring boots, the Frenchman is our tip to score anytime at the San Siro on Saturday.
The hosts will certainly be hoping that their forward players are firing on all cylinders as Udinese arrive having failed to score in just one of their last five games. The Zebrette put three past Milan when they last met though and a wager on another high-scoring game with over 2.5 goals may well pay off.
Matches between the two sides have tended to be close affairs, with three of the last six games ending in draws. Udinese have certainly been the draw masters this season, boasting the most in Serie A, with seven to their name with just 10 games played. Given the disruption at Milan at the moment, a bet on the points being shared equally would provide a big return.

Milan (4-3-3): Maignan; Calabria, Thiaw, Tomori, Hernandez; Musah, Krunic, Reijnders; Pulisic, Giroud, Leao
Udinese (4-5-2): Silvestri; Perez, Bijol, Kabasele; Ebosse, Samardzic, Walace, Lovric, Kamara; Lucca, Success
Stefano Pioli’s injury crisis continues, with Pierre Kalulu and Marco Pellegrino reportedly both picking up injuries on Sunday. The coach will welcome Malick Thiaw back from suspension though, allowing him to drop into the back line.
Few changes are expected from Gabriele Cioffi, who may reward Lorenzo Lucca with a start on Saturday. Sandi Lovic and Hassane Kamara should both feature from the off, while Gerard Deulofeu, Brenner and Keinan Davis all miss out.
