The Supercoppa between Milan and Inter will be played on January 18, 2023, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, the Lega Serie A announced.

One of the two Milanese sides will lift the first trophy of the season in Saudi Arabia at the start of the new year.

Lega Calcio has confirmed the time and venue for the clash between Rossoneri and Nerazzurri. Inter are the defending champions, having won it against Juventus last season.

The Supercoppa is a one-legged match between the Serie A and Coppa Italia winners.

Lega specifies that the kick-off time will be decided along with the eventโ€™s organisers.

The Supercoppa had been played in Italy during the last two seasons due to the COVID pandemic. Juventus won it in 2021 at Reggio Emilia against Napoli, while Inter beat the Bianconeri this past January at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in Milan.

The last time the Supercoppa was played abroad was in December 2019, when Lazio beat Maurizio Sarriโ€™s Juventus in Riyadh.
