As the city is reinventing itself, the club continues with the traditional red and black stripes but want to represent a ‘new state of mind’.
As a ‘horizon of modern skyscrapers’ emerges in the city, captain Alessio Romagnoli said the new kit represents the ‘new and expanding skyline’.
“Wearing the red and black colours day in and day out gives me immense pride,” the captain told the club’s official website.
“The new kit looks really modern, and you can truly see where the inspiration for the stripes come from. It’s a great representation of Milan’s new and expanding skyline.”
