Milan ultras unveiled two banners threatening and insulting Gianluigi Donnarumma: ‘Be careful, we don’t forget traitors.’

Donnarumma left Milan at the end of his contract in June, signing a contract until 2026 with PSG.

However, his time in Paris didn’t start in the best way as he was relegated to the bench in the first two Ligue 1 games of the season.

Milan replaced Donnarumma with Mike Maignan, but it seems that some Rossoneri fans haven’t forgotten the 22-year-old who played a key role in helping Italy win UEFA Euro 2020.

On Sunday, a group of ultras unveiled two banners outside Milanello, before the Rossoneri’s game against Cagliari.

‘We don’t forget traitors, be careful when you will be back in Milan,’ they wrote in one of those, while the second one read: “Donnarumma ungrateful bast… you suck more than Leonardo.’

Donnarumma made his senior Milan debut at 16 and made 251 appearances with the Serie A giants.

  1. I really don’t think he is that special, distribution is poor, flaps at crosses and always pushes a save back into a dangerous area.

I think Italy want to continue the line of great keepers from zoff to Buffon so donnarumma was hyped beyond his abilities.

Shame Milan couldn’t extract 40mil for him and he went on a free

  2. He is good at penalties. At the rest, he is just good. And honestly, looking the mastery Maignan has with the ball at his feet and with passing, I don’t miss the pesetier guy

  3. These ultras are just a bunch of losers and unfortunately every club has them worldwide. Who threatens another just because they made a move to another team. WIth that said GG is a great goal keeper and is still learning and growing each match. In addition, he is our Azzurri goal keeper and should be supported to the end, not threatened. Did we threaten Buffon when he went to PSG in hopes to win UCL? No, Juventini did not.

    😂😂😂😂

I see the comment section is still infested with resentful English fans.

  5. @ Rosario and pepe, I am an Italy fan and follow fiorentina.

He is good player but the best…I’m not convinced. Buffon at 22 was remarkable. Was vying with Toldo, perruzzi et al for top spot.

Plus treating the club that made him in this way leaves a sour taste. Don’t forget Buffon went to serie b with juve.

  6. Morally he will never be on par with Buffon. Technically he could be as strong or better eventually but sitting on the PSG bench probably won’t help him achieve that.

  7. I mean we can knock the kid all we like. He will be earning to sit on the bench. I dunno about you guys but if I was offered 250k plus PER WEEK to sit on a bench I think your attitudes would be bery diffrent if it were any of us in that situation.
As a Milan fan I never wanted him to leave BUT from his agent, player and business point of view IT IS ALL ABOUT THE MONEY.
