Milan ultras praised their former coach Carlo Ancelotti with a banner outside San Siro: ‘unrivalled legend.’
Italy is honouring Ancelotti after the 64-year-old lifted his fifth Champions League as a coach, his seventh considering his career as a footballer as well.
Ancelotti won the first two Champions League titles as a Milan coach, in 2003 and then in 2007.
He had also won two European Cups as a footballer with the Rossoneri so the club’s ultras honoured the Reggiolo-born tactician on Sunday.

As Milan correspondent Antonio Vitiello showed on X, formerly Twitter the die-hard Rossoneri fans put up a banner outside the Stadio Meazza today.
The message for their ex-coach read: ‘A champion with no rivals. Carlo Ancelotti unrivalled legend.’
Ancelotti spent five seasons at Milan as a footballer and eight more as a coach.
