The Milan ultras of the Curva Sud have released a statement expressing their frustration with the team after the 3-1 loss to Udinese.

2023 has not been particularly kind to Stefano Pioli’s Rossoneri, who have dropped points in eight of their 12 league outings in the new year. The team have only picked up one point in their last three consecutive Serie A games, raising the pressure on the squad as the top four race continues to heat up.

Reports today suggested that sweeping changes could be made at Milan should the team fail to secure a Champions League finish this season, a sign of the tension in the Lombardy capital.

Releasing a statement via Luca Lucci, the Milan ultras shared their disappointment and anger at Milan’s difficult start to the year.

“Perhaps it’s not clear that Champions League qualification is not an option… Two weeks of stop to find ourselves definitively, we are also tired of witnessing certain performances…

“Milan must always be Milan, as the curva is always the curva, whether you play against the first or the last in the table! No more distractions, no more wastage! Come on fight, come on!”

Milan currently sit fourth in the Serie A table with 48 points, just one ahead of fifth place Roma and seven ahead of a resurgent Juventus.
