According to reports in Italy, Milan ultras are among the eight people arrested this morning over alleged drug trafficking.

Calciomercato.com reports eight people were arrested in the area of Milan this morning and charged with drug trafficking.

Among them, three Milan ultras, including one of the Curva Sud leaders Luca Lucci who was taken to jail with three other men. Four more are under house arrest.

Lucci was already arrested with similar allegations in the past. In December 2018, he was pictured with at-the-time Italy interior minister Matteo Salvini during the celebrations for Curva Sud’s 50th birthday (pictured).

There are numerous searches in other homes in the provinces of Milan, Bergamo, Lodi and Monza Brianza.

The ultras are all involved at a personal level and investigations do not concern Milan’s fans organizations.

  1. This is the same individual that was convicted of assaulting and causing horrific facial injuries to an Inter fan. The father lost one of his eyes in the vicious attack which was orchestrated by the leader of the milan ultras, Luca Lucci.
The injured Inter fan was awarded by the court €140k in compensation from Luca and the other Milan ultras but it was never paid to him and the man tragically ended his life.
