It was widely expected earlier this week that the decision would be announced, with Milan accepting a ‘consent award’ of a year out of the Europa League in exchange for more time to balance the books.
This ruling would also combine the two cases covering Financial Fair Play violations for the periods 2014-17 and 2015-18.
However, several days have gone by and there is still no sign of the announcement.

According to La Repubblica newspaper, it could require up to 15 days to complete the paperwork, as this would set a precedent for dealing with FFP and UEFA want everything to be watertight.
This is also a problem for Roma and Torino, because if Milan do forego their Europa League place, it’ll bump the Giallorossi up from the preliminary round straight into the group stage.
Torino can then take Roma’s place in the preliminary round.
