Daichi Kamada and Marco Sportiello are Milan‘s first summer signings, while Davide Frattesi appears to be the alternative to Ruben Loftus-Cheek and one between Pierre Kalulu and Fikayo Tomori could leave.

Multiple sources in Italy claim Kamada will join the Rossoneri on a free transfer undergoing his medical with the Serie A giants in the coming weeks.

Tuesday’s printed edition of Il Corriere dello Sport newspaper (page 19) claims the 26-year-old has snubbed Atletico Madrid and Borussia Dortmund and will sign a five-year deal with the Diavoli.

The Japan international will join the Rossoneri on a free transfer from Eintracht. The same is true of Sportiello who will move to San Siro after the end of his contract with Atalanta on June 30.

As La Gazzetta dello Sport highlights, Milan aims to sign at least one new central midfielder. Chelsea’s Loftus-Cheek is their priority target, while the second option is Sassuolo‘s Davide Frattesi. The asking price for both players is circa €25m.

Lille’s Lois Openda is a primary target for the attack, followed by Bologna‘s Marko Arnautovic and Atletico Madrid’s Alvaro Morata.

Malick Thiaw will join the Rossoneri on a permanent transfer and could push Kalulu or Tomori out of San Siro. The French defender joined the Rossoneri on a free transfer in 2021, so Milan can aim for a big capital gain with his sale, while Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara will only consider ‘super’ offers for Tomori.
