According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Milan will announce the signing of Divock Origi and Renato Sanches before opening talks with Sassuolo for Gianluca Scamacca.

The Rossoneri want to strengthen their squad for next season, giving Stefano Pioli more options and quality in every department of the team. Talks for Sven Botman have been put on hold, but Milan are close to signing the defender’s teammate Renato Sanches.

According to Sky Sport Italia and La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Rossoneri are close to reaching an agreement with the Ligue 1 side. The Portugal international will move to the Stadio Meazza for €10-15m, reports the pink paper.

He will be the second signing of the summer after Divock Origi, who agreed personal terms with the Rossoneri several weeks ago and is set to arrive in Milan to undergo his medical with the Rossoneri and sign a three-year deal.

Milan linked with Pablo Marí as Arsenal defender wants Serie A stay

The Belgium international will join Milan on a free transfer after from Liverpool.

He may not be the only signing in attack for Milan, given that Scamacca is also on the Diavoli’s radars. The Italy international could leave Sassuolo for €40m and according to Gazzetta, Paolo Maldini could sit down with Sassuolo in the coming weeks.

The Rossoneri have also been linked with Arsenal defender Pablo Marì and are looking for a new attacking midfielder, with Nicolò Zaniolo, Noa Lang and Charles De Ketelaere all on the club’s radars.

Reports in The Netherlands suggest that Lang’s move to Milan is virtually a done deal, but sources close to the club quoted by Gazzetta confirm the interest in the player but deny that the agreement is closed.

10 thought on “Milan transfer news: two deals close, Scamacca and Lang updates”
  1. None of these signings really improve Milan‘s starting lineup, just their depth.

They need to make some marquis signings if they want to retain the scudetto.

  2. Sanchez is an upgrade in the middle over Kessie or Diaz, whilst De Ketelaere would do the same in attack over Diaz of whoever is on the right, also as a forward option. Marque signings are only needed for clubs who are broke and need to sell jerseys.

  3. Azzkikr depth is needed for scudetto. There will be injuries and fatigue. Milan need to only strengthen right wing and trequartista or perhaps go to 3 man midfield

  4. I’d pay 25m max for Scamacca and 5 to 10m of that is for his age and potential alone. He still needs a lot of work to become a Milan calibre player.

  5. I completely disagree with you Zoro, Origi again is an underrated player that will surprise us in Serie A just like Giroud.
Bravo to Maldini for this steal!
Sanches, amazing player, and yes I agree that I hope and wish that he’s healthy in Milan.
If he is, he is totally a beast, and Milan might have the best midfield in defensive department for next year.

  6. Don’t know many of these players or haven’t seen them perform recently, but at least we’re looking in the right areas.

I really do think we need to leave the CB spot for now, especially as the key to our end of season form was the high line we played with Kalulu and Tomori. If we are to sign a CB they need pace or else we lose that advantage.

  7. We should be signing ruslan maloniskivy and renato sanches in the middle both they can defend or attack…n sign zaniolo or Raphinha bcz we gonna play in the Champions league next season n then sign Centre back bremer or botman
