Olivier Giroud will arrive in Milan today, but it is reported, the Rossoneri are close to securing three more signings.

On Wednesday, the clubs’ technical director Paolo Maldini confirmed the Chelsea striker is on his way to Milan.

“We needed an experienced player,” the former defender said during the unveiling of the Serie A fixture list for 2021-22.

The French striker will undergo his medicals on Friday before signing a two-year deal with the Serie A giants.

Milan will pay €1m to secure his services plus €1m add-ons.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Serie A giants have also reached an agreement with Real Madrid over Brahim Diaz’s return to the club, but the Spaniard will once again move to the San Siro on a dry loan deal and not on loan with an option to buy.

The 21-year-old scored seven goals in 39 appearances with the Rossoneri in 2020-21.

Milan advanced negotiations for Bondo

Nancy youth team midfielder Warren Bondo also seems very close to moving to the San Siro. The same is true of  Fodé Ballo-Touré, who has already agreed personal terms with Milan, according to Il Corriere dello Sport.

The deal is close, but not done yet as Monaco’s asking price is €6m, while Milan offer €4.5m.

In the meantime, the Rossoneri continue to monitor Kaio Jorge, who can leave Santos for circa €10m as his contract with the Brazilian club expires in December.
