Multiple sources claim Joshua Zirkzee will join Manchester United from Bologna as the Red Devils have agreed to pay a €40m clause plus €15m commission.
Bologna striker Zirkzee is set to join Manchester United, according to several reports.
Sky Sport Italia transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio claims the Red Devils have informed Bologna that they will trigger Zirkzee’s €40m clause, while Fabrizio Romano and The Athletic say the Premier League side have reached a full agreement with the striker’s agent, including a €15m commission.
Milan dealt transfer blow as Zirkzee set to join Man United
Romano confirms that Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag has been in direct contact with Zirkzee over the last few weeks.
Zirkzee had emerged as a top transfer target for Serie A giants Milan. The Rossoneri were ready to pay his €40m clause but tried to negotiate a lower commission fee with the Dutchman’s representative, Kia Joorabchian.
Zirkzee hinted that he would leave Serie A this summer after making his senior Netherlands debut in the EURO 2024 quarter-finals against Turkey this past Saturday.
