Italy legend Fulvio Collovati believes Milan should sign Nikola Milenkovic or Luiz Felipe to replace Simon Kjaer and Real Madrid‘s Luka Jovic in attack.
After Kjaer’s knee injury, the Rossoneri are on the lookout for a new centre-back.
The Dane will remain out of action for at least six months. Therefore, the Serie A leaders must sign a new central defender in the winter transfer window.
Many centre-backs have been linked with a move to San Siro, including Chelsea’s Antonio Rudiger, Andreas Christensen and Malang Sarr.

Fiorentina‘s Nikola Milenkovic is reportedly on the Rossoneri’s radars as well, but Tottenham are also interested in securing the player’s services.
“Milenkovic or Luiz Felipe would be good signings in defence and Jovic up front,” Collovati told La Gazzetta dello Sport, as quoted by Milannews.
“Jovic’s value can’t be questioned, but they would need to manage him because he is not an unknown player.
“He can have one striker ahead of him but not two. However, Ibrahimovic has proved not to be eternal and the same is true of Giroud,” the former Inter defender continued.

“For the club, it would be a significant financial sacrifice, but Milan will fight to the end [for the title] and strengthening the squad thinking about the future would be a good move.”
Jovic had been linked with a move to Milan one year ago, but according to reports in Germany, he opted to return to Eintracht Frankfurt because he thought he would not get enough playing time with Zlatan Ibrahimovic in the team.
This season, the Serbia international has scored one goal in 10 appearances with Carlo Ancelotti’s Real Madrid and is tipped to leave the Santiago Bernabeu in January.
His contract at Real Madrid expires in June 2025.
On the other hand, Milenkovic’s Fiorentina deal runs out in June 2023 and Antonio Conte’s Tottenham reportedly want to sign him to replace the injured Cristian Romero.
