Atletico Madrid reportedly told Milan they can find another club for Alessio Cerci, as Napoli and Torino are interested.

The winger moved to Madrid last summer for €15m, but struggled for any playing time during those six months.

He went to Milan in January on an 18-month loan deal, sending Fernando Torres the other way.

Today Rossoneri CEO Adriano Galliani met with Atleti directors and Sky Sport Italia claim he was told to find another club for Cerci.

There is still one more season left on the loan deal, so Milan would shake his wages off their bill by sending him elsewhere.

A return to his former club Torino is an option, but Napoli are also very interested in taking the 27-year-old Italy international.

“We haven’t talked about Cerci returning,” Toro President Urbano Cairo told Tuttosport.

“He wanted to go in order for the dream of playing in the Champions League and I don’t know what motivation he’d have coming back to Torino.

“Often those who return to their old clubs turn into a flop. We’ll see. Cerci is a good lad and we respect him.”
