Fikayo Tomori

Milan will reportedly meet Chelsea’s demands and pay the full €28m for Fikayo Tomori’s permanent move to San Siro.

The English defender arrived on loan last winter and has impressed at San Siro in the second half of the campaign.

Tomori helped Milan finish second in Serie A and thus qualified for the Champions League next term.

Chelsea, who won the Champions League in 2020-21 with a 1-0 win over Manchester City in the Final, are not willing to give Milan any discounts on the set price-tag of €28m in the loan deal agreed last January.

Milan hoped they would be able to negotiate the amount and lower the outcome but have now decided to trigger the option to buy Tomori at full price.

The 23-year-old, capped once by England, played 17 games in Serie A since his move to Italy and scored his first goal with the Diavolo in a 3-0 win over Juventus.
