Belotti destined to join Milan: deal in Jannuary?

According to Tuttosport, Andrea Belotti won’t extend with Torino as he is looking for a move to Milan with the Rossoneri who could even sign him in January.

Il Gallo sees his current deal expire at the end of the season and Torino president Urbano Cairo has confirmed the striker is not willing to sign a contract extension with the Granata.

“He hasn’t signed and he probably doesn’t want to sign,” Belotti told reporters at the Festival dello Sport in Trento.

“I made an offer that went beyond my capabilities, but I can’t force him to do anything. I don’t think he wants to sign.”

Cairo: ‘Belotti doesn’t want to sign for Torino’

According to Tuttosport, the Italy striker is strongly considering moving to Milan with the Rossoneri who may need to replace Zlatan Ibrahimovic in 2022-23 as the Swede’s contract runs out in the summer.

The Turin-based paper quotes many football agents who are convinced Belotti will join Milan as a free agent in the summer.

However, if the striker won’t extend his stay at the club, Torino could sell him in the winter transfer window.

According to the report, Torino can’t expect to cash in more than €5m or extend Tommaso Pobega’s loan deal, adding an option to buy.

Talks between the two clubs haven’t begun yet, but according to Tuttosport, Belotti is destined to join Milan.
